Shaped by Our University Community
To be successful, Illinois Leads must be informed by the voices and experiences across our university community. Everyone’s voice and perspective will be part of this conversation.
- Survey: A survey was sent to students, faculty, staff, and alumni to share their feedback and thoughts on our university’s future. The survey ran March 9 – March 27.
- University Community Conversations: Feedback across our university was leveraged in university community conversations throughout March and April. To ensure representation across offices and academic disciplines, participants were selected by the Chancellor’s Leadership Council.
- Unit-led Brainstorming Sessions: Colleges, institutes, departments, and units were invited host their own brainstorming sessions. The Illinois Leads facilitation guide provided a simple framework to help units lead their own discussions and capture feedback for the university’s strategic planning process. The collection period for brainstorming session input has passed.
- Community Brainstorming Sessions: Members from the Champaign-Urbana community engaged in brainstorming sessions to gather ideas and feedback. Members were selected by Government Relations, Corporate Relations, Public Engagement, the Office of the Chancellor, and the Office of the Provost.
- Industry Leaders Brainstorming Sessions: Feedback was gathered from alumni business leaders in virtual industry leader roundtables. Members were selected by the Office of Corporate Relations.
